Purchased and restored by the GBPA in 1999, the Historic Daniel Lady Farm served as Johnson's Headquarters and then a Confederate field hospital during the Battle of Gettysburg. The barn has authenticated initials carved by soldiers cared for there and the house still has blood stains in the floor. To learn more about the farm's history, click HERE

The Historic Daniel Lady Farm welcomes all Scouting units. Camp on hallowed ground and get a tour of the barn and the house museum. We provide wood, water and portable toilets. Only a mile from Gettysburg's town square and one exit away from the National Park Service's Visitor Center, the Historic Daniel Lady Farm makes an excellent base camp for experiencing history.
