ADA Service Animal Policy
We welcome ADA service animals that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with disabilities.
Handlers are responsible for their service animals at all times, including waste management and maintaining control.
Any service animal that becomes disruptive may be asked to leave the property to ensure the safety and comfort of all our visitors.
Opening Weekend for the Farm is March 22-23 to coincide with Reenactor Appreciation Weekend!
Join us for opening weekend to celebrate with demonstrations, onsite reenactors hard at work and hanging out, and of course, Farmhouse Museum and Barn Tours!
Learn about cannons, surgery during the Civil War, swords of the time, go relic hunting with a metal detector – all while living like a Union or Confederate soldier.
Get to know other scouts from all over the Country and then do battle on Sunday morning.

This registration is only for reenactors who will be participating in the battle or presenting to the public. If you have not previously taken part in a reenactment, and are interested in becoming a reenactor click here for additional information.
Artillery registration is open under the following guidance:
a. Registration is limited to 12 cannon per side.
b. Bounty compensation per gun will be a choice of a check, check and powder or all powder.
c. There will be NO additional guns permitted beyond 12 per side.
d. Registration will be limited to ONE CANNON PER ORGANIZATION through February 1, 2025. At that time, if there are open slots available, gun registration will be open to additional guns on a first come, first served basis, with no restriction by individual organization.
e. Minimum crew requirements per gun are: 6 cannoneers for guns with 57” wheels (i.e., 3” Ordnance Rifle, 10 pdr. Parrot, 12-pdr Napoleon, etc.), and 5 cannoneers for prairie/mountain/field Howitzers.
